  • Principal Contractor Role
  • Part-Demolition of commercial properties, including asbestos surveys and subsequent asbestos removal, recycling of suitable materials, crushing of hardcore to a graded product. Including installation of temporary propping of structures in accordance with design to retain structures for retention within ultimate design.
  • Provision of welfare, plant and equipment for subcontract archaeological works. Archaeological works undertaken to expose, record and retain the former 1780’s clay pipe factory
  • Cut and Fill to achieve design levels
  • Drainage installation
  • Offsite disposal of surplus materials
  • Removal of asbestos containing soils, and watching brief throughout archaeological works for asbestos containing materials
  • Removal of underground storage tanks and vehicle inspection pits associated with the former garage
  • Pile mat installation, associated geotech testing to confirm suitability for use
  • Regulatory Liaison and Sign off of relevant contaminated land planning conditions as well as pre-commencement enabling works conditions.
